Congressional campaign in Mid-Atlantic seeks experienced campaign manager for highly competitive 2016 primary election.
Responsibilities:
- Hire an experienced staff to support the campaign plan and overall strategy
- Design and execute individualized voter contact programs
- Build coalitions in support of candidate's objectives, including stakeholders, elected officials, opinion leaders, and the media
- Utilize cutting edge voter contact programs including voter file management, micro-targeting, voter ID programs, phone programs, and integrated social media
- Manage consultant team
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous campaign management required, congressional-level race preferred
- A background in fundraising or finance strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to interact with diverse populations and leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.
- A good sense of humor
