Tulchin Research, a leading Democratic polling and strategic consulting firm based in downtown San Francisco, seeks a part-time paid election year Project Assistant for an immediate start. Tulchin Research provides consulting services to candidates for elected office, ballot measure campaigns, labor unions, non-profits, corporations, and foundations. We have polled on behalf of Governors, U.S. Senate and Congressional candidates and provided public opinion research for Bernie Sanders's presidential campaign.
The Project Assistant is responsible for assisting the Tulchin Research team on all projects from initial to final stages and everything along the way, including all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research for the firm's clients. Duties include proofing data for accuracy, conducting background research, coordinating focus group logistics, scheduling and overseeing surveys, and drafting marketing proposals and presentations. In addition, the Project Assistant will assist with administrative duties.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires a politically interested self-starter with attention to detail, time management skills and strong communication and writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint is necessary. The ideal candidate will have previous experience or education background in public opinion research and political campaigns.
