Grant Martin Campaigns is looking for a finance director for a mayor's race in Dallas. The election is May 4 with a likely runoff on June 8. After the election, there is an opportunity to transfer to a November race in Houston for mayor or city council.
The ideal candidate will have at least:
· Three cycles of campaign finance experience, including one cycle in a leadership role
· Maturity and confidence in dealing with donors and prospects
· Demonstrable experience writing a detailed finance plan
· Demonstrable experience in major donor fundraising and call time operations
· Demonstrable experience in donor event organizing
· Demonstrable experience utilizing social media and email programs for fundraising
· Demonstrable experience managing data
· Attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting
· Demonstrable experience with NGP and ActBlue
Houston and Harris County are sprawling metropolises – field directors must have a car.
This is a full-time job with long hours. Salary is commensurate with experience.
