Knowledge of current reproductive rights issues and experience with pro-choice or reproductive justice activism is ideal.
  • Strong writer, researcher and editor familiar with Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with website/blog management, social media platforms, desktop publishing, image editing, or other computer skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with donor databases or other systems for tracking and communicating with donors and activists.
  • Activist, political, and/or non-profit experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in cooperative decision-making settings.

Fellowship details/requirements: Exact time frame can be flexible, but the ideal candidate will be available 25-32 hours per week for January – early June. The majority of Fellowship activities will take place at our office in Old Town Alexandria (Metrorail and Metrobus accessible) during office hours (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri), but options for doing some work remotely may also available. There will also be some night and weekend events where the Fellow will be needed.

Compensation: A monthly stipend will be provided and/or we will work with students on receiving academic credit if applicable. Stipend amount will depend on numbers of hours/weeks available to work.
