A D.C.-based democratic research and policy consulting firm is hiring research vetting staff to support our high profile statewide and Congressional campaigns. This individual will work as part of the vetting team to conduct comprehensive background checks on potential employees, event locations, and campaign surrogates. This position requires strong judgement, as individuals will be required to complete high scrutiny background checks in a timely fashion. This position provides a great opportunity to start a career in campaign research.Strong attention to detail and a disciplined work ethic are required. Applicants are expected to know or be willing to learn both campaign and location specific issues. Desire to learn is essential, vetting or campaign research experience is a plus. Candidates selected for an interview will be expected to perform a vetting test. Office is based in D.C., but remote work is available.
