Campaign Manager for Illinois State Senate Campaign
OVERVIEW
An extremely hardworking, dedicated grassroots Illinois State Senate candidate is seeking a Finance Director to manage fundraising operations through November.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with the Midwest and willing to relocate to Ottawa, IL; have finance/NGP experience; be committed to rebuilding the Illinois Democratic party in rural areas. have a positive, go-getter attitude and sense of humor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Deeloping fundraising strategy and holding campaign to goals, including managing call time
- Conducting donor research and organize data into NGP
- Preparing and track phone calls and process contributions
- Organizing planning and execution of fundraising events
- Drafting fundraising emails
- Managing candidate's day-to-day schedule and calendar
- Staffing candidate at campaign events
- Other administrative tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1-2 cycles of electoral campaign experience in a finance capacity.
- Highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment
- Have experience with fundraising, including call time, list building/donor prospecting, and budgeting
- Have field experience, including volunteer management
- Proficiency with NGP/VAN required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Docs required
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Illinois/rural ties a plus
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary consummate on experience. Optional housing (1-bedroom apartment) included.
