Overview:
Waggener Edstrom Communications, one of the world's largest independent communications agencies, seeks a driven communications professional to join a large, top-notch team as an Account Executive. 

This Account Executive would support integrated communications on the Microsoft account for a breadth of critical business areas including breaking company news, general corporate issues, legal matters pertaining to legislation and regulations, as well as cybersecurity and privacy issues. Desired experience includes a background in issues-related campaigns; an ability to successfully juggle multiple projects and priorities; a heightened attention to detail; an ability to understand and decipher complex issues; and a demonstrated experience working with journalists.

Responsibilities:
• Manage inquiries from key national media/influencers; identify, create and grow relationships with target media/influencers to appropriately engage
• Serve as day-to-day contact for clients and agency stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic campaign development and implementation
• Provide timely and in-depth analysis of coverage results and trends
• Be a peer resource across teams and the agency; facilitate integration 
• Contribute to the development and execution of integrated digital/social/broadcast campaigns; keep a pulse on new trends in the digital space and socialize with stakeholders in engaging ways
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years' experience in communications, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry 
• Strong presentation and research skills
• Established influential relationships; social media presence
• Visual content development (Powerpoint to social media)
• Exposure to digital strategy best practices
• Has written and developed materials, including integrated communication plan(s)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in computers and standard office applications (Microsoft Office is preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
