Nebraska ROOTS, a new consulting firm, is now accepting applications for tech interns.
We are a group centered on training organizations, candidates and campaigns, and county parties, on how to more effectively campaign, especially in rural areas. We currently have clients and interests spanning Nebraska, and are seeking interns to assist in training these individuals/groups on how to set up and maintain a website, as well as other campaign tech needs.
Among your responsibilities will be:
Maintenance of internal website needs
Preparing training materials for clients
Attending and presenting trainings, either in person or remotely
It's a great way to get your foot in the door, get some definite experience in tech consulting, and get your name exposed for future employment. For those interested in moving into political consulting, this is a fine way to make connections into that world; our group will also give first consideration to interns who have demonstrated exemplary ability and drive. Stipends are potentially available for the right candidates.
