MOKO Social Media is looking for a head of sponsorship and partnership development for its Blue Nation Review (BNR) platform. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and growing new revenue streams that take advantage of Blue Nation Review assets and staff — from advertising to events. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience doing business development for political and/or media organizations.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and manage strategic client development. Must be adept at managing client relationships at every level, including C-Suite interactions.
- Formulate and execute development strategies and lead creative business development projects from concept through implementation.
- Lead/support strategic partnerships with leading media buying and advertising holding companies.
- Lead/support development of strategic revenue focused partnerships with other marketplace partners, including political organizations, advertising networks, and technology vendors.
- Support corporate development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of working in advertising or corporate fundraising and a minimum of 3 years' leadership experience.
- Experience of writing and presenting successful proposals, funding bids, plans and business documents. Devising and managing 1MM+ in proposals and sales.
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience of managing and motivating staff to achieve challenging goals.
- Skills in identifying and promoting income generating activities.
- Understanding of different types of corporate/charity partnership, and of the corporate motivations behind them.
- Excellent interpersonal, social and networking skills, including the ability to listen, write and communicate confidently and engagingly with individuals at all levels.
- A can-do attitude, with excellent negotiation skills and solutions focused.
- Ambitious, innovative, self-motivated and target driven.
- High level of competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases with good attention to detail.
