An environmental campaign dedicated to promoting policy solutions to address climate change is seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to support a multi-state field team and national field staff. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, have data management and non-profit experience, and possess the ability to be attentive and responsive to staff needs while working on different projects in an at-times fast-paced environment. This position provides support to national field staff and assists with reporting on field team activity to donors and campaign leadership.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

 

       Provide support to national field staff

       Work with the Field Data and Reporting Director to track and report on field program activities

       Assist in monitoring and maintaining the Campaign database that supports our grassroots organizing and field program

       Prepare quantitative and qualitative reports for fundraising and outreach efforts and to keep campaign leadership apprised of field activity

       Conduct data imports, create reports, monitor data quality, and perform database maintenance and cleanup, as needed

       Coordinate logistics for national retreats, lobby days, fly in's, and Senate breakfasts as needed

       Maintain documents library (Dropbox) and online library for field materials, talking points, etc.

       Take notes in Campaign calls and meetings and manage MaestroConference calls

       Perform other work as required or assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

       Knowledge of Microsoft Word, basic Excel skills, and database maintenance

       Ability to learn new technical skills, familiarity with Intuit QuickBase and VAN a plus

       Good verbal and written communication skills

       Strong ability to collect and organize information

       Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot check for errors

       Experience in environmental non-profits, political campaigns, or database administration

       Strong commitment to ensuring clean air and climate for all
