Canvassers do door to door outreach, signing people up as members of NJCA, and raising money to support our organization. Power comes from organized money and organized people, our canvassers do both by signing people up as members of our organization and getting them plugged into the campaigns we run.
You should apply if you want to…
· Get experience with grassroots mobilization and fundraising
· Gain the skills and connections needed to launch a career in non-profit, political, or grassroots organizing
· Help make progressive policy changes that will benefit people all across
Requirements: Canvassers must have good social skills and must be driven. A firm knowledge of and commitment to progressive politics is preferred.
Pay: Canvassers earn a minimum of $11.25 an hour. Successful canvassers may earn more
