ActBlue seeks Fall 2015 Interns!
At ActBlue, we build and power the premier online fundraising platform for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations. We put power in the hands of small-dollar donors and make giving online as easy as possible. And we work with thousands of Democrats across the country from the President to Senators to school board candidates.
The Intern Team's role is to serve as the front line of support and chief brand ambassadors to ActBlue's many thousands of donors and campaign users. ActBlue interns will be a member of a small team that offers efficient, accurate, and friendly assistance to users who contact ActBlue. They will work closely with members of the ActBlue Outreach and Customer Service teams. Interns regularly attend meetings, present on their progress, join in office discussions, and make meaningful contributions to our work.
Major responsibilities will include:
Providing proactive donor and campaign support
Researching and tracking candidates
Contributing to account set-ups for new ActBlue accounts
Assisting with filing campaign finance reports and disbursement of funds to committees
Tackling special projects assigned by various departments
Key qualities we're looking for:
Interest in electoral politics and commitment to Democratic victory
Excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping people
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to ask questions
Solution-oriented problem solving
Enthusiasm for taking on a variety of tasks
Sense of humor!
