A Northern Virginia State Senate Campaign seeks an experienced Field Director for a competitive race. The Field Director will be an integral part of senior campaign staff and manage a regional field office in a strategically important area.
-- Field Director should have minimum of two cycles worth of field experience and needs to be a self starter who takes initiative. VAN experience is a must and NGP experience is a plus. Weekend office hours are required as is access to a car. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize projects in a fast paced environment.
The Field Director is responsible for:
-Managing field organizers and running the regional field office
-Developing a grassroots network and building volunteer relationships
-Analyzing and providing meaningful feedback on campaign strategy
-Recruiting and training interns
-Maintaining data in VAN and submitting daily reports
-Planning canvass launches and assisting with events
