In the 2012 and 2014 cycles, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) raised over $4 million directly for progressive candidates, made over 6 million phone calls for these candidates, provided intensive one-on-one coaching to dozens of campaigns, trained 600 campaign staffers and candidates, placed key staffers on the ground, and won major primary and general election victories. In 2011, we also ran the campaign to draft Elizabeth Warren to run for U.S. Senate -- raising over $1.1 million for her campaign.
Our plans are even bigger this cycle! For 2016, we're hiring an Electoral Director to make it happen. This is a key, senior position in the organization. The Electoral Director will work with the Co-Founders to manage all aspects of the Electoral program, including, but not limited to:
- Recruiting great progressives to run for office at the federal and state levels.
- Managing the endorsement process.
- Hiring and managing the electoral team, including a Director of Field Support, Director of Finance Support, and Director of Communications Support.
- Managing relationships with candidates, campaign managers, consultants.
- Targeting top-tier races for PCCC involvement.
- Providing our candidates with expert advice, tools, and training.
- Thinking creatively about how to engage our nearly 1 million members in the 2016 election.
- Making sure our candidates win.
Strong applicants will have:
- Progressive ideals and work history.
- At least three cycles of senior-level electoral experience, including federal campaign management.
- Healthy skepticism of the "way things have always been done" and smart outside-the-box ideas for creating new models to win electoral campaigns.
- Strong sense of strategy.
- Ability to manage others -- while also being a doer.
- Strong ability to build relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong work ethic, an ability to work in virtual workplace, and detail oriented

About Us
Founded in January 2009, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) is a national grassroots organization with a mission of building progressive power. With nearly one million members, we help bold progressive candidates elected and work with them to govern progressively. MSNBC's Ed Schultz calls the PCCC "the top progressive group in the country." The Nation magazine awarded PCCC "Most Valuable Campaign of 2011" for our Draft Elizabeth Warren campaign. In 2014, we supported over 600 progressive candidates and campaigns across the country with our volunteers, fundraising, training program, and technology. We focus on economic populism and democracy issues -- including expanding Social Security benefits, Wall Street reform and accountability, and bold campaign finance reform.
