Title: Field Organizer
Location: Fairfax, Virginia
Overview of position: We are currently seeking a full-time field organizer to implement our already robust field program in a highly competitive race in the northern part of Fairfax County Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting and training volunteers.
Organizing door-to-door canvasses, phone banks, and other voter outreach efforts.
Representing campaign at community events.
Assisting with campaign visibility.
Serving as first point of contact between the campaign and community.
Working with local elected officials and Democratic constituency groups.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Willingness to work odd and irregular hours. (nights and weekends);
Access to a laptop, and cell phone.
Positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a team.
Experience in Democratic campaigns a PLUS.
Salary: Commensurate with relevant experience.
