Seeking organized, hard-working and energetic field staff to work on local New Jersey campaigns during the November 2015 election cycle. We are hiring entry and intermediate level staff for field and other duties, Applicants must be professional as well as self-directed and able to work well in a team. Nights and weekends required.
Duties will include recruiting and supervising volunteers, running canvasses and phone banks, staffing candidates and events, direct voter contact, and recording and organizing data.
It is a tough, yet rewarding job where you can learn first hand about local politics in competitive races.
Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. You must remain organized and ensure candidates and volunteers keep accurate records of canvassing and event attendance.
Salary range between $2000 and $3000, depending on skills and experience
