Campaign Manager Job Description
Note: Looking for December/January 2016 Start Date.
A leading congressional candidate in a highly targeted race in the Northeast is seeking resumes for
qualified candidates interested in serving as our Campaign Manager. There will be a highly active primary
The Campaign Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the campaign in this targeted race. Duties
include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the day-‐to-‐day schedule and prioritizing activities for the candidate
Completing the development and Executing on a comprehensive campaign plan outlining the path
to victory including voter contact, fundraising, and field/GOTV goals
Overseeing the fundraising, field, communications, messaging and technology components of the
campaign and managing these employees
Working with the campaign's consultants to develop a sound paid communications plan in
line with the campaign's message and budget
Coordinating campaign activities with all of the other campaigns in the district as well as the state
and local party committees and the state level races, national races, DCCC and influential coalition
partners and endorsers
Maintaining relationships and communication with local and county Democratic stakeholders
Managing the recruiting and training of volunteers
Requirements
Qualified candidates must be highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working in a
demanding work environment where long hours are expected.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Management experience and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to motivate and continue building a team.
Commitment to details, getting results, meeting goals, and using data to inform decisions in the
Campaign experience at managerial level strongly
Political campaign and/or labor organizing experience required; political fundraising experience
very strong strongly preferred.
Experience writing and implementing Campaign, Finance and Communication plans.
A vehicle is required
Salary and Benefits
