A high profile State Representative is seeking to hire a Finance Assistant to begin immediately.
Applicants should have prior campaign experience, with ideally at least one cycle of fundraising experience or full time internships. A well-qualified applicant for this position will have proficiency with NGP/VAN software and be someone with exemplary time management, planning, organization and communications skills.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for managing a robust call time program, organizing and executing local fundraising events, drafting fundraising emails, assist in setting up fundraising meetings, and directing and conducting fundraising research. Other responsibilities will include general campaign work, including staffing the candidate at political and fundraising events, recruitment and supervision of interns and volunteers.
This position is based in the Southeastern PA, entails significant personal interaction with the candidate and other surrogates, and will require some travel to and from Harrisburg and throughout the state. Irregularity of hours is to be expected, including evenings and weekends. Salary is commensurate with the applicant's experience, but is competitive.
