The position will focus on running a multi-faceted, statewide digital
campaign that integrates both field and online organizing around education
issues. This position is based in Portland.
The digital campaign director will be responsible for planning, management,
and execution of strategy on all digital platforms of the campaign that
support the communications, field, and finance departments. This includes
managing the website, CRM platform, bulk email tool, and social media
accounts.
Core Duties Include:
CRM (NationBuilder) management & troubleshooting
Website management (blog posts, email acquisition forms etc)
Social media account management (Facebook, Twitter & YouTube)
Research and outreach to influencers
Email program execution & optimization
Google Apps Management (Gmail, Drive, Tag Manager, Analytics, Webmaster Tools)
Reporting on digital metrics
Intern/Volunteer recruitment & management for digital
Importing/exporting lists from NGP VAN
Regular travel to Washington state
Position Qualifications
Proficiency in all listed skills is not required, but definitely preferred.
Commitment to the goals of the campaign
Basic HTML and CMS skills
Basic graphic design skills
Proficiency in all aspects of NationBuilder or similar systems
Experience in managing and optimizing email campaigns
Experience managing Social Media accounts
Experience in working in a campaign atmosphere
Familiarity with various Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Webmaster Tools, Tag Manager, Analytics)
Commitment to working long and irregular hours (including evenings and weekends) as needed
Education - bachelors or associate degree preferred.
Campaign experience is strongly preferred
