Gary Farmer campaign for State Senate seeks motivated political canvassers in the Fort Lauderdale area.
The Gary Farmer campaign for State Senate is looking for highly motivated individuals who are seeking a career in political campaigning. We are looking for individuals who are able to work 40 hours a week on our voter contact efforts.
The Gary Farmer campaign will be hiring full-time Field Organizers later this year. Strong consideration for staff positions will be given towards candidates already working through our canvassing program.
Qualifications:
· Able to provide your own transportation within the 34th State Senate District (coastal Broward County, Florida)
· Available to work on weekends.
· Comfortable interacting with strangers both in person and on the phone
· Past political experience preferred but not required
· A strong desire to help send a strong progressive voice to the State Senate
Candidates who speak a second language in addition to English are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation:
· Canvassers will be paid $12.00 per hour and have the opportunity to work 40 hours during most weeks.
· Selected candidates will receive the training and skills necessary to launch a career in electoral politics.
