Strategies 360 is seeking a qualified and motivated person to join our growing public opinion and market research practice in the role of Data and Operations Manager.

Strategies 360 is a full service, non-partisan research and public affairs firm with offices in 10 western states (including AK, AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT and WA) and Washington, DC.

S360 works with some of the country's leading public agencies, campaigns, businesses, and advocacy organizations. We use a full range of traditional and emerging opinion research tools to inform the development of messaging, marketing, and campaign strategy. This position provides a great opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-growing, innovative research practice. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and have an interest in data, demography, and public opinion. This candidate will also have excellent communication, organizational, and problem- solving skills and the ability to balance competing demands and timelines. They will be forward-thinking and interested in helping shape the department as we continue to expand.


Position responsibilities include:

  •  Managing field, data, and programming operations for the research practice
  •  Identifying and recommending ways to improve upon existing field and data systems
  •  Contributing to the creativity and innovation of the research product and practice
  •  Assisting in management of future data and field hires
  •  Assisting in communications with vendors, subcontractors, and Strategies 360 staff
  •  Reports directly to Senior Vice President of Research

Qualifications:
  • Experience with data management programs such as Wincross, SPSS, Stata, Excel, etc. 
  • Experience with voter files and/or VAN a major plus but not required 
  • Experience in public opinion research a major plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and communications skills 
  • Interest in public opinion as well as public policy, politics, or political demography
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong numeracy (no advanced mathematics required but must be able to capably work with
  • quantitative data)

  • Ability to work well with in a friendly, team-first environment

  • Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Position located in Seattle
