The 2016 Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Deputy Operations Director for its campaign for nationally and state targeted races including Presidential, United States Senate, the state legislature, competitive Congressional races, and more. The Deputy Operations Director reports directly to the Operations Director and is responsible for working with and supporting the operational and logistical needs of the Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign.
Responsibilities:
• Negotiating leases and contracts and maintaining vendor relations
• Work to setup offices, utility and internet set up, assets, supplies, and resources
• Develop and implement processes and systems to track moving pieces and improve efficiency
• Oversee and facilitate hiring process and onboarding of new staff
• Oversee logistics for programmatic events for the field program
• Managing, facilitating, and liaising with staff for operational and logistical needs
• Ensure staff have resources to operate programs
• Project management of operational tasks and initiatives
Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Able to stay calm under pressure in a fast paced environment with long hours
• Ability to bring structure in a growing and dynamic environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented individual
• Customer-service oriented and strong work ethic
• Understanding of IT, HR, budgeting, legal and compliance, logistics, and general operations
• Experience with NGP software preferred but not required
• Prior campaign experience and Pennsylvania ties a plus
