Position: Northeast Congressional Campaign seeks a Field Director. The Field Director will plan, manage, and direct the field infrastructure of the campaign, including hiring and recruiting their own field program. The Field Director will lead the campaign's field program and will build voter targets and contact goals. This position reports to the Campaign Manager.
Field Director Responsibilities Include:
· Ability to write and implement a comprehensive, data-driven field plan
· Recruit, train and manage a field team to execute the field plan
· Motivate field staff to perform and meet weekly goals
· Set, meet, and exceed metrics for direct voter contact, volunteer and capacity recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
· Design and standardize best practices for data management using NGPVAN, Votebuilder, and Excel
· Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization that focuses on accountability, goal-hitting metrics, utilization of best practices, engagement, and sense of purpose
· Manage the field program's budget and logistics in collaboration with Campaign Manager
Field Director Qualifications:
· At least one cycle of field experience, preferably being at least RFD, Data Director, or having targeting/data experience.
· Experience managing and training high performing volunteers and staff
· Experience with and ability to train VAN. Experience setting up auto-dialers and predictive is a plus.
· Ability to design, maintain and improve a goal-oriented accountability structure
· Strong understanding of the Neighborhood Team organizing model
· Understanding of voter penetration and micro-targeting
· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent deadlines
· Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
· Spanish language skills are strongly encouraged to apply
