The Nevada State Democratic Party seeks a Voter File Manager to oversee the day-to-day voter
file needs of the state party, county parties, and state and federal campaigns.
Task and Responsibilities
Voter File Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Day-to-day management of users and committees in VoteBuilder.• Developing and implementing a statewide training program for VoteBuilder, including aregular webinar schedule.• Creating and maintaining survey questions, activist codes and other VoteBuilderinfrastructure.• Creating all shared searches and targets.• Overseeing data collection, standardization and processing.• Providing timely and relevant analysis of data and fielding requests for specializedresearch projects, in many cases requiring rapid turnaround.• Tracking and disseminating analysis of voter contact results, early vote and absenteeturnout, voter registration, and other data relevant to campaigns and legislativecaucuses.
Required Skills & Background
• An understanding of common direct voter contact programs and a minimum of 2-3• Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively.• Ability to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, be detail-oriented and• Diplomatic, professional approach to problem-solving and the ability to think• Excellent organizational, time-management, oral and written communications skills.• Multiple cycles of experience with VAN (Voter Activation Network).• Strong Excel skills are required, and experience with databases such as a desktop-scale platform like Microsoft Access or more advanced SQL and query construction is• Experience conducting training on technical matters preferred.years experience in labor, community organizing or political campaigns preferred.meet deadlines.independently and creatively.a plus.• Must be a self-starter; willing to work long, irregular hours and extensive travel asneeded.
