The Ohio Democratic Party is accepting applicants for a paid research and communications fellowship to start immediately and last into the fall. The position is ideal for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who will be at school in Columbus this semester who are also looking to gain political research and communications experience in the most important battleground state in the country.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Assembling daily news clips
· Compiling and maintaining accurate press lists
· Assist in drafting press releases
Qualifications:
· Access to a car
· In Columbus this summer and fall
· Strong research and writing skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to manage time effectively
· Previous campaign or policy experience a plus but not required
· Desire to learn how campaigns are won
