SKDKnickerbocker, a leading political and strategic communication firm, is hiring a Senior Associate in the Washington D.C. office to manage paid media campaigns on behalf of their political, non-profit and corporate clients. Candidates should have a strong understanding of both the creative process and the tactics to execute an effective paid media campaign. One-year experience working in paid media or graphic design is preferred but not required. Candidates must be organized, have a keen political awareness and the desire to work long hours to help clients attain their goals. Duties include:
- Responsible for overseeing the creative and media buying process from start to finish including:
- Drafting briefs for the creative team
- Management of production timelines
- Creative and content development
- Design, filming or recording of talent
- Producing the final product, ensuring it is to spec, meets FEC requirements and other regulations
- Developing and placing the media buy with our partners
- Collecting payment and paying vendors
- Ensuring the final product is accurate and starts on time
- Draft strategy memos, media plans, correspondence, talking points, and other documents
- Coordinate TV, radio and photo shoots with our production department; ensure they occur on budget, on time, and meet the creative needs
- Track expenses, bill clients, and work with vendors to deliver on time and on budget paid campaigns
