A competitive Massachusetts ballot campaign is looking for excellent candidates to serve as Regional Field Organizers.  We are fighting to make public charter schools available to families who want them so that all students, regardless of race, income or zip code have access to an excellent school. The Regional Field Organizer will be the face of the campaign in the communities where they work. They will work to implement an ambitious volunteer voter contact effort, including recruiting volunteers and holding volunteer leaders accountable to ambitious metrics, and other campaign activities to ensure we get to "50 percent plus 1" on election day.

Position Summary: The Regional Field Organizer will be the face of the campaign in the communities where they work.  Projects include volunteer recruitment and management, coordinating with campaign partner organizations,  assisting with earned media opportunities and implementing an effective GOTV operation. The position will report directly to the Field Director.

Qualifications: An ideal candidate will be an experienced organizer with at least 1 cycle of electoral experience at the national, state or local level. Candidates without electoral experience that can demonstrate significant relevant experience in a non-profit/advocacy setting or other relevant experience (sales, recruitment etc.) will also be considered. Must be excellent recruiters and be able to quickly build an effective volunteer team. Candidates must have a commitment to education reform and superior work ethic. Good quantitative analysis skills are key. Candidates should have 1-2 cycles of electoral experience or equivalent experience.  This position requires frequent night and weekend work, particularly after Labor Day.  A car is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

     Plan and execute field operations that exceed campaign goals.

     Recruit and train volunteers to assist in campaign operations and hold those volunteers accountable to ambitious campaign goals

     Track and analyze performance. Troubleshoot and problem solve. Adjust plans and strategies when necessary

     Work closely with partner organizations to execute on campaign goals

     Provide analysis on performance, with an emphasis on the quantitative, and implement plans to maximize results.

Location/Travel: Field Organizers will be based in offices across Massachusetts.
