Political Tracking Analyst (Washington DC)
We are a progressive media planning and analysis firm based in Washington DC. Our Competitive Research department comprehensively tracks and evaluates opponent media spending on political campaigns nationwide.
We are seeking a smart, organized, and personable candidate for the Seasonal (Through November 8, 2016) Political Tracking Analyst position in our Washington DC office.
Duties include:
§ Entering and organizing a considerable volume of data.
§ Procuring information from multiple sources.
§ Compiling, entering, analyzing, and coding data in spreadsheet & database applications.
§ Reviewing media content and matching to database information.
§ Analyzing, organizing, and distributing competitive information in a timely & professional manner.
§ Having fun in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to numeric detail and organization a MUST, as is strong follow-through. This role requires proven proficiency with spreadsheet and database software, and the numeric aptitude to use these tools effectively. This candidate must possess the political savvy to assess the timeliness and importance of information being analyzed. The Competitive Research Department works closely as a team, but also requires independent & self-directed effort.
