Red Horse Strategies, a progressive New York City-based political consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate. We are staffing up ahead of our busy 2017 and 2018 election cycles. We are seeking a strong leader who can provide support to our clients, excel when given autonomy over a project, work well under tight deadlines and who has experience building and motivating teams.
Skills and Experience:
- Three years political experience with at least two in electoral campaigns
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent ability to problem solve
- Ability to build strong relationships among a diverse group of people
- Computer proficiency, including word, excel and VAN
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Knowledge of New York/Northeast politics a plus
- Must be able to work campaign hours, nights and weekends
- Ability to execute independent, quality work under tight deadlines
- Strong project-management and time-management skills
