[jobsthatareLEFT] Digital Campaign Strategist at OFA

Organizing for Action is seeking a full-time Digital Campaign Strategist to lead our email, social, web, and design production, with two main goals: to cultivate online relationships to drive offline change and to fundraise to support the organization as a whole.

This position will manage one of the largest lists in politics, and as such, the person who fills it should know how to manage it, respect it, and innovate with it. But it's not just about email; the ideal candidate will be one part creative wordsmith, one part data-obsessed, and one part vibrant team leader, because this individual will manage a team to expand OFA's reach overall -- including through social media, design, and web projects -- in order to court and develop meaningful relationships with its audiences. The goal is to turn passive online observers into offline action takers and fundraising to make it all possible.

This individual should be committed to getting results in a fast-paced environment and able to handle a heavy and dynamic workload without dropping the ball. This position is an opportunity to both communicate to one of the largest lists in politics to galvanize change in a challenging time as well as a chance to give a voice to those who our civic leaders threaten to leave behind.

The Campaign Strategist should manage a team to expand OFA's reach through email, social media, and web projects and court its audiences to develop meaningful relationships -- with the ultimate goals of supporting online to offline pathways, fundraising, and executing rapid response campaigns

About Organizing for Action

Organizing for Action (OFA) is a non-partisan, issue advocacy organization committed to growing the grassroots movement by training, educating, and activating civically engaged community members across the country. We are proud community organizers who are building this organization from the ground up, community by community, one conversation at a time. The millions of Americans who have taken action with OFA are part of a long line of people who stand up and take on the big fights for social justice, basic fairness, equal rights, and expanding opportunity. That kind of progress is never easy. But we are not here for the easy fights.
