Telefund is seeking passionate and professional Account Executive candidates with strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. As part of the senior management team, the Account Executive will manage our phone fundraising campaigns, develop new client relationships, and strengthen our existing partnerships.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have 6+ years of experience in project management, client relations, and progressive political campaign management and/or fundraising. Excellent quantitative analysis skills, proficiency with Excel, and command over data and planning are required. Candidates must also have a demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a proven track record of flexibility and solution-oriented problem solving. Additionally, the ability to work independently as well as at the head of a team, a commitment to progressive social change, and a strong work ethic are required. This position requires travel.

 

Job Description:

  • Meet and exceed goals for client campaigns across multiple call centers, managing up to 20 campaigns simultaneously.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign performance. Communicate results and analysis to clients and Telefund leadership. Adjust campaigns, processing, and messaging to incorporate long-term solutions, adapt to changing political landscape, and cater to immediate needs of clients and leadership.
  • Analyze campaign performance over time, recommend tactical improvements, and ensure an increased return on investment for clients.
  • Coordinate across departments - e.g. legal, financial, operations, IT, fulfillment - to launch and manage campaigns successfully.
  • Develop compelling phone scripts and pledge fulfillment materials, adhering to our clients' messaging.
  • Negotiate contracts, price, and payment terms.
  • Drive all aspects of new business development; identify potential partnerships, organize and plan strategy sessions and coalition meetings, develop relationships with key players in political and nonprofit organizations, and create marketing materials and pitches for potential clients.
  • Diversify call centers' areas of expertise and seize opportunities for growth in fields such as voter contact services, other non-fundraising election and membership development activities, and innovative campaign and membership outreach tactics.

Location: The position is available in Boston, Denver, Austin, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Washington, D.C.
