Finance Director needed for Democrat in targeted California House race
Seeking full-time Finance Director on Southern California congressional races. Budget of $3M.
Responsibilities include:
- Write and execute all aspects of a finance plan – including call time, finance committee, events, low dollar fundraising and PACs
- Set quarterly, monthly and weekly finance goals
- Manage finance and compliance staff
- Work with the manager to coordinate plan with cash flow and modify as needed
- Staff candidate at finance related events as necessary
- Identify new donor prospects
- Manage prospect and donor follow-up
- Write all campaign solicitations – both mail and online appeals
Desired qualifications:
- Must have at least one cycle of previous fundraising experience, preferably as Finance Director, Deputy or call time manager
- Willing to work full-time and relocate immediately
- Impeccable attention to detail and follow-up
- Well-organized and able to multi-task
- Working knowledge of NGP
