National nonprofit fundraising firm is seeking a National Canvass Director to help build the popular resistance to the Trump movement and lay the groundwork for positive change in the future.  The person who assumes this role will oversee our national network of small-donor fundraising canvasses and will be charged with quickly, substantially growing the membership and donor base of our progressive partner groups.  The National Canvass Director is bottom-line responsible for ensuring that our field offices are meeting and exceeding fundraising goals, performing at full potential, and providing the highest quality representation of our clients. This Director is part of the Senior Management team.


Responsibilities

  • Meet and Surpass Fundraising Goals for Clients
  • Maximize Performance of Outreach Offices and Quality of Outreach
  • Expand Capacity (within current markets and by expanding to new markets)
  • Recruit, Train and Supervise Regional Canvass Directors and Canvass Directors
  • Analyze Metrics, Identify Growth Potential and Report Vigorously
  • Motivate and Mentor Fellow Staff Members


Qualifications: Strong management, organizational and communication skills are required, given the geographical diffusion of field offices.  This position also requires a strong work ethic, a desire for political change, and ability to work within a team.  Prior supervisory experience required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working in some combination of campaign management or team management, fundraising and marketing.

Start: Immediately, or up to 1-2 months
