Progressive Turnout Project seeks Digital Organizer (Chicago, IL)
Position Summary
Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks a Digital Organizer who will oversee and manage engagement with our online activist community by creating content, tools, and more. In this role, you will focus on providing compelling content, easy-to-use organizing tools, and consistent email communication to our 2 million online supporters. The position is a full-time salaried position based in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Create new campaigns, phone scripts, and petitions for our web platform TurnoutAction.org
- Coordinate with our on-the-ground Field staff to generate content that can be shared with our supporters
- Engage with online supporters wanting more information about organizing in their own communities
- Monitor performance of organizing tools and adjust strategy according to engagement results
- Collaborate with Field Director to create content for regular email newsletter
Qualifications:
- At least one cycle campaign experience
- Strong and engaging writer
- Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Work well as part of a team
- An interest in progressive politics and political activism
- Preference may be given to candidates with HTML and graphic design experience

We design, test, and execute specialized voter turnout programs targeting sporadic Democratic voters in the most competitive districts in the country.
