We're seeking interns to help unseat John Faso in New York's 19th Congressional District. Interns will serve as an integral part of our grassroots, field campaign gaining valuable experience while leading a campaign in one of nation's most competitive swing districts. Interns will receive a stipend of $750 as part of this campaign program.
Responsibilities:
- A 10 week commitment with at least 20 hours per week.
- Conduct voter voter outreach, lead and manage volunteers conducting voter outreach.
- Staff events and meetings.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating new activist groups, ie Indivisible and SwingLeft groups.
- Conduct donor and fundraising research.
- Participate in weekly training sessions.
Requirements:
- Commitment to progressive values and policies.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferences
Previous canvassing and political outreach experience.
Access to a vehicle and laptop.
VAN experience.
