We are seeking a high-level Field Director to build and execute an aggressive field program. The successful candidate will be numbers-driven and highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and collaborative, able to function well in a high-pressure team environment. Experience in managing large staff necessary. Candidates with a strong background in volunteer and paid canvass are preferred.
Responsibilities Will Include:
· Conducting or managing grass tops politics
· Recruiting, training, and managing a paid and volunteer field programs
· Tracking and reporting progress to goal in real time
· Delivering program assessments and recommending strategic adjustments as needed
Required Skills and Qualities
· The ability to train and motivate large community-based volunteer groups
· Mastery of voter contact programs including VAN and the like
· Mastery of basic office programs including the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and file share programs
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent time management and task organizing skills
· The ability to solve problems
· The ability to self-assess
· Self-motivation and the commitment to see a task through regardless
Job Requirements
· The ability to travel independently
· The ability to work extended hours
· The ability to travel for extended periods of time
