Midwest Democratic Gubernatorial Campaign Seeks Finance Assistant
Summary of Position
The Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Director. She or he will play an important role by providing support to the fundraising operation of the campaign and participating in fundraising activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work with candidate and finance director to develop prospect lists
· Conduct donor research and update records to reflect recent communication
· Staff fundraisers and prepare necessary materials
· Maintain the campaign's thank you program
· Assist with check processing and data management
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Previous campaign fundraising experience preferred
· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and NGP preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience working in a fast-paced atmosphere
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
