You are a creative, collaborative self-starter with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and 4-6 years of experience with digital strategy. You believe in the power of grassroots organizing, as well as the integration of digital and offline organizing. You are excited to help progressive campaigns, causes, and companies do big things.
You will be responsible for developing innovative, integrated engagement strategies that are digitally sophisticated and informed by data, while also leading teams across multiple projects. Experience with crafting and executing email campaigns is strongly preferred.
This position will be based in Chicago, IL, or Washington, D.C., and may require some travel. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A PROJECT MANAGER AT 270 STRATEGIES:
Develop and execute coordinated organizing, digital, and media-based strategies for clients
Lead a team of staff working on each of your assigned clients, and ensure that 270 Strategies delivers presidential level work to the client
Serve as face of 270 Strategies in day to day communications with your assigned clients
Collaborate with internal Data team to identify and analyze key metrics for success in each client engagement
Manage multiple client teams of several staff
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES THAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
Experience managing multiple complex, fast paced projects at once
4-6 years of experience with digital strategy and a deep understanding of digital organizing principles
Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making and program development
Familiarity with paid media strategy and how to leverage digital ads to reach goals
Strong leadership experience, and the ability to lead a team
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing skills and proven ability to produce written material within a deadline
Strong judgment and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate new situations
A track record of working with diverse partners
Confidence and professionalism while engaging with contacts ranging from grassroots volunteers to high-level public officials
Enthusiasm for a team-based work environment
A sense of humor, a willingness to embrace both your own quirks and others', and a passion for progressive issues
MAJOR PLUSSES:
Experience designing and executing email campaigns, particularly online fundraising
Advanced PowerPoint or Excel skills
Experience with or knowledge of political campaigns
