Job: Finance Director for midwestern Frontline incumbent. This is an ideal position for a staffer ready to make the jump from Deputy FD or Finance Assistant to Finance Director. Likely start date is mid-January.
Responsibilities: The Finance Director will lead the campaign's fundraising and development goals that include, but are not limited to:
● Manage and execute strategic finance plan with focus on call time and events (will work in conjunction with manager on direct mail and online solicitations)
● Manage call time and other activities to meet targets and deadlines
● Execute donor research and expand new donor networks
● Manage and trainstaff, interns and volunteers
● Manage finance and digital consultants in conjunction with Campaign Manager
● Manage follow up on all correspondence and pledges
Qualifications:
● 1+ cycles of campaign finance experience, previous statewide or congressional campaign finance experience or equivalent
● Must have call time experience, donor prospecting, and research experience
● Experience managing events preferrred
● Experience managing staff preferred
● Knowledge of NGP and Excel
● Working knowledge of federal campaign and ethics finance law
● Prior experience with targeting contributors and follow up management
● Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
● Willingness to work campaign hours
● Comfort working in Trump district, experience working in rural swing/conservative districts a plus
