Finance Staff Position
Virginia congressional campaign in a targeted district is seeking a talented Finance Director to continue strong fundraising momentum for a first-time candidate in a Democratic primary and through the 2018 election.
We are seeking individuals who are willing to take responsibility for crucial parts of the fundraising operation. Strong candidates will be good problem solvers, work well in fast-paced environments, and be passionate about flipping Congress back to blue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage workflow and logistics for high dollar and low dollar fundraising events including, locking locations, RSVP tracking, assisting host committee with crafting and mailing invitations, and ensuring events are successful.
- Assisting in organizing fundraising mailings
- Working directly with the candidate assisting donor outreach efforts.
- Representing the campaign at events in the district.
- Assisting with the compiling of FEC filing
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- At least one cycle campaign experience preferred, not required
- · Some experience in NGP and/or with Excel preferred, not required
