Resist and Win - Federal Endorsements Manager
MoveOn is seeking highly motivated and goal-oriented Federal Endorsements Manager to oversee our 2018 federal candidate endorsements.
As MoveOn's Federal Endorsements manager, you'll be responsible for researching, vetting, and managing the endorsement process of hundreds of federal candidates across the country and work with the broader MoveOn elections team in support of our Resist and Win election program .
Responsibilities:
Work with the Election Mobilization Director to develop and implement MoveOn's federal endorsement strategy in 2018.
Research and regularly track news from hundreds of races across the country to identify strong progressive campaigns and stay abreast on breaking campaign developments.
Write and design emails to survey MoveOn members on which candidates they're supporting.
Work with partners and allies on issue forums, questionnaires, and endorsements.
Manage MoveOn's endorsement process, member votes, and rollouts.
Write and edit press releases, commission social media graphics and pitch video ideas highlighting MoveOn endorsements.
Required Experience:
Minimum 1-2 cycles experience in electoral campaigns
Experience writing and editing public content such as press releases, emails, and social media posts.
Understanding of the national political landscape and opportunities in 2018.

Location: Work from anywhere within the continental United States.
Reports to: Elections Mobilization Director
Classification, Salary, and Benefits: Full-time; highly competitive salary including benefits such as 100%-employer-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for all staff and their children; employer-paid premiums for life insurance for all staff; 13.32 hours accrued vacation per month, 6.66 hours accrued sick leave per month; floating and all-staff holidays, and reimbursement of home office expenses.
