Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a dynamic and effective Specialist, Digital Fundraising & Supporter Engagement, whom is responsible for building and coding for the national email and SMS programs (and all associated fundraising or advocacy landing pages) within the national digital CRM platform (currently Convio, with a migration to EveryAction planned for spring 2018). Provides campaign support, technical guidance, and training to affiliate and state offices, within the digital CRM platform.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements the national email and SMS programs (and associated fundraising or advocacy landing pages) working within the digital CRM platform, including advanced and complex HTML and CSS coding of messages and campaigns, creating brand-compliant assets needed for email program, query and segmentation, versioning, quality assurance testing, A/B test setup, and publishing messages to lists. Coordinates appropriate internal reporting as requested.
- Develop and maintain pagewrapper, email stationery, and form template structure in digital CRM system.
- Serves as a resource for affiliate practitioners and national staff on message integration, training, best practices, technical support, and troubleshooting as needed. With guidance from Associate Director, collaborates with affiliates on strategy and tactics for online advocacy and fundraising campaigns.
- Secondary dispatcher and contact for the day-to-day functioning of the internal ticket management system used for affiliate Support cases on online supporter engagement tool.
- Assists team in administration and affiliate support related to new and innovative strategies for the digital fundraising and advocacy program.
- Maintains centralized online campaign resources, including, DFSE blog and Intranet site, and Quick Guides for affiliates.
- Completes special projects as assigned and required.
REQUIREMENTS / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Bachelor's degree or experience/education in related field is required.
- 1-2 years of experience with coding, in additional to general work experience.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Adobe Suite required. Position requires a dedicated individual who can handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Issue advocacy or political campaign experience preferred.
