The Jessica Morse for Congress campaign (CA-04) is hiring a finance assistant for an aggressive fundraising program to flip a Congressional District in Northern California. The district encompasses 10 counties and includes Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, and some of the Sacramento suburbs. Our candidate is a 5th generation Northern Californian with over a decade of experience in national security who is committed to running a community-driven campaign. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking individual who is dedicated to helping elect Jessica Morse in a DCCC-targeted race. The campaign will train the right candidate, but prior campaign experience in field or finance is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct donor and prospect research and prepare for call time
● Maintain NGP database and manage data entry and finance systems
● Assist with event logistics, execution, and follow-up
● Process contributions and manage acknowledgments and other mailings
● Provide administrative and office support
Qualifications:
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications
● Strong writing, research, and communication skills
● Meticulous attention to detail
● NGP VAN experience preferred, but not required
● One cycle of campaign experience in finance or field preferred
● Collaborative nature and positive attitude
● Ability to work irregular and long campaign hours
● Access to laptop and a car
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Relocation to Northern California required. Supporter housing provided.
