The Faith for SD24 Campaign is accepting applications for our 2018 Field Organizer positions. Senate District 24 is a top-tier district that is a must-win to gain the majority in the Colorado State Senate.

Field Organizers are the face of the campaign in their communities and are responsible for building and empowering the volunteer infrastructure that will persuade and mobilize voters to turn out a Democratic victory in November. These are temporary positions, lasting through November 8th, 2018.

To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter to FaithForSD24@gmail.com.  Please use your cover letter to communicate why you are excited to work to help elect Faith Winter to the Colorado State Senate and any highlight any experience you have recruiting, managing, and training volunteers. These positions will be filled on an ongoing basis. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

POSITION TITLE: Faith for SD24 Field Organizer

REPORTING TO: Faith for SD24 Campaign Manager

LOCATION: Our office is located at 104th and I-25 in Northglenn.  You will be expected to work with volunteers in Senate District 24.

STARTING DATES: June 1st, 2018 and August 1st, 2018.

ENDING DATE: November 8th, 2018.

COMPENSATION: $2,000 per calendar month and $500 November 1st – November 8th, 2018.

The Faith for SD24 Field Organizer duties include:

§  Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers

§  Planning and executing regular voter contact and volunteer recruitment events

§  Cultivating volunteer leaders and providing them with ongoing training

§  Meeting strict weekly voter contact goals on doors

§  Meeting daily reporting and data entry deadlines

§  Developing relationships with political stakeholders, allied organizations, and local Democratic committees

§  Other duties as assigned

The Faith for SD24 Field Organizers must also be self-motivated and outgoing, with strong verbal and writing skills.  They must be able to keep composure in a stressful environment and possess the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines under pressure. They must have a desire to learn on the job and meet any challenge with a positive attitude with the ability to hold yourself and others accountable for reaching goals.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, a cell phone, and a laptop.
