VOTER ENGAGEMENT CANVASSER
$15/hour
The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is seeking highly motivated and passionate canvassers to engage and energize voters across the Lehigh Valley ahead of the 2018 Elections.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate with current and potential Democratic voters to increase awareness and excitement for the 2018 Elections
· Track and submit progress through short online and paper documentation
· Collect voter commitments and new voter registrations
· Represent the Pennsylvania Democratic Party with professionalism and respect
· Must be able to work weekends and afternoons
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal skills- outgoing, social, and comfortable talking to the public about voting
· Punctual, well organized, motivated, and energetic
· Strong passion for progressive politics and government participation
· Knowledge and understanding of current political landscape and upcoming elections
· Political, community, or labor experience is a plus
· Spanish speaking is a plus
