A nationally-targeted, New Jersey congressional campaign, rated among the twenty most competitive House races in the country, seeks hard-working field organizers to start immediately. Organizers will play pivotal roles in managing the campaign's robust volunteer voter contact program, to unseat a long-time incumbent and help Democrats take back the House.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Implementing a robust field plan to reach regular voter contact goals
- · Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and interns
- · Planning, crowd-building, and staffing campaign events
- · Ensuring data integrity and timely entry
QUALIFICATIONS
- · Have a passion for progressive politics and the power of political organizing
- · Have a basic understanding of political campaigns and a desire to learn more
- · Be highly organized with an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
- · Be comfortable with computer technology, with experience using VoteBuilder a major plus
- · Be willing and able to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis
