A North Carolina Democrat in elected office is seeking a qualified campaign manager to oversee their 2020 campaign. Qualified applicants should send their resume to NCDemJobPosting2020@gmail.com, along with a cover letter.
The ideal applicant will have at least one cycle of management experience at a statewide or congressional level with additional campaign work experience. The campaign will be based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Previous fundraising experience in excess of $1,000,000
- Knowledge of NGP Software
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
- Experience working with paid media firms (T.V., Mail, Digital).
- Experience working with polling firms
- Experience working with coordinated party campaigns-preferred
Responsibilities:
- Write and execute a statewide campaign plan
- Write and execute a statewide finance plan
- Work with a consulting team to execute a winning strategy
- Assemble and oversee a campaign team
- Upkeep of campaign database – including contributions and donor information
- Research to identify prospective donors
- Organize, plan, and staff fundraising events
- Execute all day-to-day campaign operations as needed
Salary is commensurate with experience.
