Lynwood Lewis's reelection campaign for Virginia's 6th State Senate District is seeking a passionate and experienced Field Director for the 2019 cycle. The position begins immediately and goes through the end of June, with the possibility of extended employment through November.

The Field Director will be responsibly for creating and executing a field program to engage voters in all five municipalities that comprise the district. The district is a mix of urban and rural, giving the field director a unique opportunity to mobilize different communities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Managing field organizers
-Recruiting and training both volunteers and interns
- Crafting campaign messaging on the doors and over the phone
-Work with community leaders and local groups
Ideal candidates will have all or most of the following:
-1 or more cycles of campaign experience
-Ability to work autonomously to reach goals
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Ability to teach and empower others, experience managing
-Comfortability speaking with people on the phone and at the doors
-Previous experience working with VAN
-Valid driver's license and car
