The Ulster County Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign is hiring multiple Field Organizers to join the team to work on reelecting Pat Ryan as County Executive, Dave Clegg for DA and our talented pool of County Legislators. Ulster County is in a position to create a vast majority in the County Legislature and reelect a County Executive fighting for a Green New Deal in Ulster County.
The Field Organizer will work across the County, on a robust field program to ensure that all County residents can make their voices heard, especially in the most competitive districts. This is a county at the heart of one of the top competitive congressional districts in the nation and this role has room to advance into the congressional race in 2020.

Responsibilities:
• Identify, recruit, and train groups of volunteers to build a volunteer base to strengthen the campaign's organization throughout the County and meet the goals outlined by the organizing program
• Ensure the successful training and inclusion of all volunteers
• Provide volunteers with positive leadership, culture, resources, and guidance required to succeed during each phase of the campaign
• Ensure the accurate and reliable entry of data throughout the campaign
• Provide the Coordinated Campaign Manager with quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program's success
• Meet daily and weekly goals set forth by the Field Director
• Coordinated multiple campaigns to effectively work together to run a robust field program
Skills and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated interest and commitment to progressive candidates and causes, with one cycle of previous field experience, strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Google Docs, basic computer literacy, and access to a reliable laptop, cellphone, and car.
• Votebuilder/VAN proficiency is also strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment
• Ability to work independently and in team settings

Start Date:
• Start date will be flexible upon availability around August 1st
Salary:
• The County Coordinated Campaign plans to offer organizer salaries competitive with presidential level field organizer roles
