We are hiring Organizers across Virginia to help take the majority in the General Assembly in 2019! Republicans hold just a two vote majority in both chambers. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and running through November 2019. Previous campaign experience preferred but not required. Passion for electing Democrats a must!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Using phone calls and digital tactics, recruiting volunteers to complete voter contact shifts
- Recruit, train and manage fellows
- Plan and manage phone banks and canvasses
- Develops volunteer leadership to expand the campaign's capacity
- Knock on doors and make phone calls to voters
- Amplify message, recruit volunteers and create online communities using social media platforms
- Plans and executes other volunteer events to reach a broad range of people throughout the Commonwealth
